One Trick Pony is our espresso blend inspired by our recent Sleeps While Walking Session - a coffee with a little grit, a little sweetness, and a lot more range than the name suggests.
With notes of cocoa, sugar, and fruit, this blend is roasted dark enough to bring out a smooth, syrupy body and deep chocolate character, while still keeping enough brightness to stay lively in the cup. As espresso, it pulls sweet and bold with a great crema and a complex finish. In milk drinks, it holds its own beautifully, adding a rich, dessert-like backbone to lattes and cappuccinos.
But despite the name, One Trick Pony is no one-trick coffee. It’s versatile enough for a pour over, french press, moka pot, aeropress, and more when you want something bold, smooth, and easy to love.
